भारतीय स्वतंत्रता अधिनियम १९४७ (Indian Independence Act, 1947).

इस अधिनियम(Act) के तहत अगरेज़ो ने हमे कहा की हम अब भारत को दो हिस्सो मे बाटे़गे भारत और पाकिस्तान और दोनो को अज़ाद घोसित किया।
और इस अधिनियम की भूमिका मे एक बात लिखी कि "An Act to make provision for the setting up in India of two independent Dominions, to substitute other provisions for certain provisions of the Government of India Act, 1935, which apply outside those Dominions, and to provide for, other matters consequential on or connected with the setting up of those Dominions".
जिसमे Dominion शब्द का प्रयोग किया अब कोइ भी मेरा मित्र ये जाँच ले Dominion का अर्थ होता क्या है।
Dominion का अर्थ होता है, उपनिवेश यानी olony या Dependence तो मुझे ये बताये मेरी सरकार की हम निर्भर है या स्वतंत्र।
